It is quite easy to find a landscaper, chances are, you may drive past one, two, three or even more on a daily basis. With so many landscapers around, how do you find the right landscaping company for you? We have taken some time to narrow down the top things you strongly consider before hiring any landscaping company.

1. INSURANCE!
Make sure that your landscaper is legitimate and is covered with the appropriate workmen’s compensation and liability insurance. While on your property these guys and gals need to be insured, the last thing you want to end up with is a law suit and a load of medical bills. So yes, that young man with a lawn mower offering you the “best deal” may be saving you some money now, but do you want to take that risk?

2. PROFESSIONALISM & EXPERIENCE
Now a days, there are many that claim to be a reputable landscapers or landscaping companies, but there are few that can actually back that up. Rely on a company that has references, that has been around for at least a couple of years and has a presentable appearance. And… don’t be afraid to trust your gut, if you have a bad feeling, you’re better off looking for someone else.

3. PROPERLY EQUIPPED
As with any job, you want it done right. It is best to hire a landscaping company who has the right equipment, equipment that is well maintained and in correct working order will likely result in a more professional, well-done job. Reliable transportation will also ensure that the crew is out on schedule and your landscaping is done on time.

4. QUALITY CUSTOMER SERVICE
This begins at the time you are interested in scheduling your estimate (which in all fairness, should be complimentary). Whether you email or call, you should be treated with respect and should be accommodated to. Of course, you may not be able to get the exact date and time you wanted, but if it is because the company is already booked, that is probably a good thing – they are busy! Which in turn means they are doing something right- everyone else is calling them!

5. WARRANTIES?
Do they offer you a warranty of the service(s) and/or material(s)? If yes, this is a good sign! But also, make sure they are an established company, because a warranty from someone that has only been around for a season or two may not be around to honor that warranty a year or two from now.

These are some of the major factors to consider, however, the list goes on and on. Do you have a question for Two Amigos Landscaping? Please contact us and we will do our best to help!
